Hello to all our Boycie’s family! We do have some news to tell you. Unfortunately, for health reasons, we are having to close our doors to any new intakes for the next few months. Obviously we don’t want to go in to personal details, but please be assured, we wouldn’t be taking this step if it wasn’t necessary. We are still going to be a fully functional rescue, needing to continue raising funds for our current 23 long term fosters that we support with all veterinary costs, food etc. we also need to continue paying for storage, insurance, accountant etc, all of which is automatically taken from our account monthly and your donations and fundraising are essential for that to continue. Hopefully in just a few months, we will be up and running as usual! In the meantime, if we can find homes for some of the dogs that are adoptable (we do have some lined up) We will try to help move dogs from the waiting list in to foster. Our messages, emails , WhatsApp’s and phone calls will not be answered as quickly as usual and we hope you understand that you may need to remind us if you’ve been missed. Our lovely friend and fellow rescuer Mandy from Petwelfare has agreed we can pass on her number for new intakes and if she can help, she will. We can assure you that all the dogs in our care will continue to get the very best treatment and comfort, as usual. We need to ensure all fosters have supplies of food and essentials for the next month or so, therefore, if you are one of our fosters who needs any items delivered, please let us know asap. Medication and prescriptions will still be managed in the usual way, however a nudge to remind us a couple of weeks before meds are due would be appreciated.
